Melissa is a creative executive in music publishing who connects songwriters, producers, and artists with opportunities that drive global success. She specializes in A&R, music rights acquisition, and creative strategy, supporting the talent behind chart-topping records.
As Director of Creative & Operations at Kilometre Music Group, Melissa leads A&R, creative programming, partnerships, and operations, with a focus on sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring music rights. She combines creative strategy with operational expertise, drawing on deep knowledge of digital music, streaming, and publishing business models.
Melissa has supported the songwriters and producers behind globally recognized records from The Weeknd, Drake, Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Tate McRae, Don Toliver, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Metro Boomin’, The Beaches, and Stray Kids. Her experience includes deal structuring, negotiation, music copyright and licensing.
Previously, she led the creative team at SOCAN, Canada’s largest music rights management organization, and she serves on the board of Music Publishers Canada and The Recording Academy’s New York Chapter Member Engagement Committee.
